Verulamium Museum

Miss McFadden - 13 Oct 2016

We had an amazing day at the Verulamium museum in St. Alban's! We were so lucky the weather cleared up when we arrived and so we were able to take a walk to see part of a wall that has survived since the 5th century, as well as a Roman mosaic floor that had been built in 180AD.  After lunch we had some extra time so we sneaked in a trip to the playground in the park!  Then it was time for our tour of the museum, which we loved.  We even got to see skeletons of people from Roman times!  We also had a Roman market workshop where we dressed as Romans and had to go shopping for some unusual items.  We all had such a good day, and learnt so much about the Romans.  Enjoy looking at our pictures below! :)
