We will be introducing the Reading Rainbow to help you to help your children to get the most out of what they are reading. Your child will be receiving 7 bookmarks over this term to support their reading at home, each one will have a different reading skill focus.

The first colour of our Reading Rainbow bookmark is red for Prediction. On your red bookmark will be some simple questions to help your child think about what they are about to read. Please try to use them as much as you can when you are reading with your child and these can feed into what is recorded into your child’s reading records.
