Emerald green sweatshirt or sweatshirt cardigan with school logo

White, black or grey socks or black or grey tights

P.E. kit – Plain black school shorts, plain white t-shirt, plimsolls or trainers (in a P.E. bag). Black leggings or black track suit bottoms can be worn if appropriate.

Headwear worn for religious reasons should be plain black or white.
On health and safety grounds we do not allow children to wear jewellery in our school except for stud earrings in pierced ears. No other earrings are allowed. Children wearing any jewellery other than stud earrings will be asked to remove it.
N.B.The school will not be responsible for any loss or damage.

All children, girls and boys, are expected to tie hair up at all times, where it is long enough to do so. Hair ties must be discrete and fit with the school colours. Some hair ornaments may need to be removed for P.E. on the grounds of health and safety.
The school wants all children to grow into healthy adults. We believe that it is dangerous for children to wear flip flops, open toed sandals or shoes with platform soles or high heels in school, so we do not allow this.
Shoes made of breathable material such as leather are preferred and totally plastic shoes (such as jelly shoes or ‘Crocs’) are not acceptable.
Plain, flat, black boots may be worn to school. ‘Ugg’ style boots and fashion boots are not allowed.  Wellington boots may be worn to and from school during bad weather but shoes must be brought to school and worn during the school day.
The decision about what constitutes suitable footwear rests with the headteacher.

Water Bottles in Classrooms:
  • The children have access to drinking water throughout the day. Children may bring a bottle filled with plain water (not fruit juice, cordial or flavoured water).
